With less than 100 calories, you can have a high protein snack consisting of two muffins between lunch and dinner, and the addition of chocolate will satisfy even the cravings of those who do not resist without a bit of sweetness.
So easy. So healthy.

Why is it a healthy recipe?

These bananas and chocolate muffins are full of fiber, healthy fat and protein from vegetable sources, being a very balanced snack in macronutrients.

The combination of Greek yoghurt and egg whites makes them a snack with a very high protein content (if you eat at least 2-3 muffins). And fiber-filled oat is excellent for any weight management regimen, because it can slow digestion, which will make you feel full for a longer period of time.

And although most oats contain gluten, specialists believe that oats are essential for a healthy heart diet, lowering cholesterol levels and reducing the risk of coronary heart disease. Or you can simply use a gluten-free option if you have an allergy or gluten intolerance!

Portions: 12 muffins
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Degree of difficulty: easy
Portion size: 1 muffin

Wet Ingredients

-2 very ripe bananas, crushed
-¼ of Greek fat-free yoghurt
-1 tablespoon of natural almond butter
-1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil (unrefined, cold filtered)
-1 cup of liquid egg white
-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon of honey, unfiltered

Dry Ingredients

-½ cup of oatmeal and ¼ cup of traditional oats
-1 teaspoon of baking powder
-1 tespoon of bicarbonate
-1 tablespoon of sugar replacer, granules
-¼ teaspoon of sea salt
-¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
-¼ cup of chopped almonds
-2 tablespoons of black chocolate flakes (you can also find the variant without soy and no nuts, semi-sweet)

Method of preparation

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Prepare a baking tray and arrange 12 muffin paper in the tray space.

To make the oatmeal, just add ½ cup of oats in the blender and blend until a fine powder comes out.

Add all the wet ingredients in a large bowl and mix until it combines perfectly. In another bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. Then add the contents of the dry bowl to the wet bowl and mix until it blends perfectly.

Then put the entire oat inside, the chocolate flakes and the almond pieces.
Divide the dough into the muffin shapes, approximately ½ – ¾ of the height of each mold, using a spoon or a measure for ice cream.

Keep in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove the tray and allow it to cool slightly.

Enjoy the perfect taste immediately, or keep the muffins in the refrigerator in a closed bottle for a week. They can even freeze, but you will not be able to resist!
